Module I – Adaptation
The first module will focus on preparing students to live and study in Poland. Students will start a course of Polish language. Classes wll be conducted by the native speaker of Polish language with English as the language of instruction. This module will also include some workshops about Poland covering aspects such as Polish culture, history, tradition , geography, socio-economic relations etc. Workshops will be conducted in English language.
In addition, there will also be information meetings conducted by university administation staff (International Office, Dean’s Office, Library etc.) which will provide the students with practical information on their study programme, academic life, academic regulations and support services available for students at the University.
Students will also be informed about the issues related to their living and studying in Poland such as registering their stay in Poland, health insurance, tax issues, dormitory registration etc. by taking part in information meetings conducted by representatives of Dąbrowa Górnicza municipality, National Health System, dormitory administration.
In order to get familiarized with the city of Dąbrowa Górnicza, students will take part in a city game (quest) organized by the students from Erasmus Student Network of WSB University.
